My thoughts about Cloud computing and it's future in india

Indian market is one of the fastest developing market in the world and that is why need of Information technology is growing everyday. but unlike western countries people don't have huge budget to spend on IT or IT enabled services and people don't have past exeperice of using information technology.

Looking at these constraints traditional approaches of information technology will not be helpful and that is where cloud computing has role to play. I can say that constraints of Indian market is complementing the benifits of cloud computing and i think india can be biggest consumer of the cloud technology.

Following are some of the main points proving above statements.

1) Internet and Mobile Connectivity:

Even thought India hasn't progress much on consuming information technology as compare to western country it has definatly progressed in mobile usage. Mobile is used extensively in india and almost complete area of the country is covered with mobile network and will covered with 3G network soon. So in terms of important infrastructure require to progress with Cloud computing is ready in most of the part and soon to be ready in rural and remote areas.

2) Cost Constraints:

In India due to higher cost of capital Entrapreoners are always have shortage of cash. It prevent them to invest on IT and IT infrastructure. Even India has biggest pool of Software professional software development is very costly because majority of them are working for western countries at higher wages so engaging them to develop solutions for indian company will increase the project cost. As Indian businessmen didn't experience the benifits of IT so they are very much skeptical about doing huge investment in IT and also about changing their way of doing business.

For all the above point Cloud computing is the only answer as it reduces the initial investment and also the cost of maintanance and it saves cost of software development in majority of cases as software catering to majority of their needs are already available on the cloud. Third and most important point is as cloud have PAY AS YOU GO method so people can be convinced to use cloud solution for trial basis and after experiecing the benifits of it they can go further.

3) New Consumers:

Majority people of india has never used IT solutions so as new in the market they will always go for best, cost effective and scalable option which they find only in cloud computing and not in traditional computing. In westen market unlikely to this they already using IT in one or the other way so for them changing everything will not give that much benifit as they are in the face where everything is stable and they are really getting benifited from it and for them it is already cheaper as it is developed in country like india where currency difference is very huge.

4) Stability and Continuity:

Currently people who are using Information technology are not skilled enough to maintain it so having professional team deployed to maintain the infrastructure and software is very important and useful and sharing that common team accross the clients will reduce the cost beared by individual clients.

above all giving the final comment on it cloud computing is getting more while paying less and that is what something required for development of the nation like india.
